The Launceston Cricket Club is very pleased to announce that ARTAS Architects have signed on to sponsor the Launceston Cricket Club’s Player Welfare Program for two years.

We thank Scott Curran and the team at ARTAS Architects for their support by way of this sponsorship.

The program commences tomorrow evening with a Stay Chatty Sports Program session to be delivered by Relationships Australia Tasmania. This will be held in the NTCA Complex Function Room from 6pm for approximately 45 minutes, and all current players and volunteers over the age of 15 are encouraged and welcome to attend.

For the next two years, short term counselling services will be provided by Relationships Australia in relation to personal and Club related issues, and these services will be available to players and volunteers (immediate family members may also be able to attend). The counselling services will be provided via telephone or face to face at RA Tasmania venues or at another agreed designated venue.

The services can be accessed by contacting RA Tasmania directly by phone on 1300 364 277 and stating that you are a Launceston Cricket Club client, and the services will be offered within five (5) business days of the initial request for service, or as agreed at the time of the initial request.

All services provided will remain private and confidential between Relationships Australia and the client.

Issues for which RA Tasmania can provide counselling include, but is not limited to, the following:
 Stress
 Mental health
 Relationship issues
 Anxiety
 Depression
 Grief and loss
 Substance abuse
 Parenting
 Family violence
 Addictive behaviours
 Trauma
 Self-esteem and confidence
 Communication
 Conflict
 Work/life balance
 Work performance
 Change
 Gambling
 Anger
 Bullying and harassment
 Children and issues they may be experiencing

Once again, thanks to Scott Curran and the team at ARTAS Architects for their support.
