As most of you would know, the Glen McGrath foundation supports breast cancer patients around Australia by raising money and supplying breast care nurses. The growth of the McGrath foundation has been helped along over the years by the support of cricket Australia, with the most recent Sydney test match, on the third day, where a sea of pink was seen across the ground, for Jane McGrath day.

Here at Launceston we like to also show our support by holding an annual Pink Stumps Day.

There will be a ‘pink’ afternoon tea, raffles, and lots of fun for the younger ones. The festivities will start at 3pm, as the Lady Lions will play South Launceston, so get along and help support the club raise money for such a worthy cause, for better breast cancer care in Australia.

Feel free to go absolutely crazy with the pink attire, you may want to hire a pink panther costume or simply wear a pink hat. Whatever your levels of creativity throw something pink on and enjoy a great day!

When: Sunday February 9th from 3pm

Where: NTCA

Cost: A ‘folding’ donation will be required to join the afternoon tea. Also bring money to be part of the raffles!

Dress: Casual, with a touch, or a splash of pink!
